Statesville Police Department Brings the Community Together at Bowling with a Cop
The Statesville Police Department traded patrols for bowling lanes on Thursday, July 23, during Bowling with a Cop at PlaMor Lanes.
Community members of all ages joined SPD officers for an afternoon filled with bowling, friendly competition, laughter, and plenty of strikes, spares, and high-fives. While kids were able to bowl for free, the event was designed to bring the entire community together in a fun and welcoming environment.
Events like Bowling with a Cop give residents and officers an opportunity to connect outside of an emergency or enforcement setting. These relaxed conversations and shared experiences help build trust, strengthen relationships, and create positive memories for everyone involved.
