Building Community One Cup at a Time: Statesville Police Department’s Coffee with a Cop

Last Updated 3/19/2026Posted in Police News

The Statesville Police Department had a wonderful time this morning connecting with our community at Coffee with a Cop at Daylight Donuts. We truly appreciate everyone who stopped by to chat with our officers, ask questions, and share conversations over a cup of coffee. These moments of connection are what help build trust and keep our community strong.

Events like Coffee with a Cop provide a relaxed and welcoming environment where residents and officers can get to know one another outside of emergency situations. It’s always encouraging to see such positive engagement and support from our community.

A special thank you goes out to Mike and Jody at Daylight Donuts for hosting us and helping make the event such a success - along with providing some great coffee and donuts to enjoy! We look forward to seeing you at our next Coffee with a Cop event.
