SPD Connects with Community at Housing Authority Block Party

On Saturday, the Statesville Police Department was proud to attend the Statesville Housing Authority’s Block Party. Officers spent the day meeting with residents, enjoying great conversations, and participating in a fun-filled afternoon focused on community connection.
The event brought together families, local organizations, and community partners for music, food, games, and meaningful engagement. SPD officers were on hand to answer questions, hand out resources, and simply spend time getting to know the people we serve.
Events like this are a great opportunity for our department to build stronger relationships with residents, especially the young people in our community. Thank you to the Statesville Housing Authority for hosting such a well-organized event and to everyone who took the time to stop by and say hello—we appreciate you!
