SPD Conducting Business Confirmations to Update 911 Contact Information
The Statesville Police Department is currently conducting business confirmations throughout the city as part of an effort to update the 911 emergency response system with accurate and up-to-date information.
As part of this process, SPD officers are visiting local businesses to verify business names, addresses, and after-hours contact details. This ensures that if an incident occurs during overnight hours – such as a break-in, alarm activation, or other emergency – responding officers can quickly reach someone responsible for the property.
Don’t be alarmed if an officer stops by your business – this is a routine check aimed at enhancing public safety.
Having the correct emergency contact information on file is a vital part of helping officers respond effectively and protect your business when it matters most.
