Statesville Police Department Welcomes Officer T. Barnes

On March 26, 2025, T. Barnes was officially sworn in as the newest officer with the Statesville Police Department. The ceremony was held at Statesville City Hall, where Mayor Costi Kutteh administered the oath of office.

Officer Barnes was joined by proud family members and fellow officers from the Statesville Police Department as he took this important step in his law enforcement career. A native of Wilkes County, North Carolina, Officer Barnes has worked hard to reach this milestone. After completing Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET), he is now ready to serve the Statesville community and looks forward to what he hopes will be a long and meaningful career with SPD.
