The Statesville Police Department is excited to introduce our newest team members, the Junior Police Ambassadors! These bright, motivated young individuals are stepping up to make a difference in our community, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have them on board.

Meet Katelyn Withers, Kelis Carr, Makayel Smith-Jackson, and Jay’Veon Lackey—our future leaders in community engagement, youth advocacy, and educational outreach. As Jr. Ambassadors, they will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between law enforcement and the community, ensuring the voices of our youth are heard.

Their journey has already begun with an inspiring initiative: a clothing drive to support our homeless community. This project reflects their commitment to making Statesville a safer and more connected place for everyone. Watch us on our social media channels for more information.

Please join us in congratulating Katelyn, Kelis, Makayel, and Jay’Veon as they embark on this exciting and impactful journey with the Statesville Police Department. Together, we are building a stronger, more united community!
