*Reports requested will be available in 5-7 business days after the request is received, reviewed and processed by our records division.

Police reports can be obtained from our Records Unit, at no cost, located at the Statesville Police Department (330 S Tradd St) Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm.

Request Police Records

To request the return of property that is eligible to be released, PRIOR to coming to the police department, YOU MUST either call 704-878-3406 or complete the form below.

An Evidence Technician will contact you within 5-7 business days to begin the process. Identification and proof of purchase or ownership (when applicable) will be required.

The return process may be extended if items for return include firearms or currency.

Parade/Public Demonstration Permit Application

This application must be filed with the Chief of Police no less than seven (7) days, nor more than ten (10) days before the date on which it is proposed to conduct the parade or public demonstration.
