School Resource Officers

The School Resource Officer (SROs) initiative deploys law enforcement officers to educational institutions, aiming to establish and uphold safe, secure, and well-organized learning atmospheres for students, teachers, and staff. Our officers embody a role beyond being simply "the cop in the shop." SROs embody a proactive approach strategically developed to introduce prevention and intervention measures within schools.

Presently, SROs are assigned to Statesville High School, Northview School, NB Mills Elementary, Oakwood Middle School, East Elementary, and Statesville Christian School.
