FREEZIN’ FOR A REASON

The Statesville Police Department is FREEZIN’ FOR A REASON, and we’re inviting our incredible community to join Team SPD in supporting the Special Olympics of Iredell County!

ā„ļø Why Take the Plunge?
Every day, Special Olympics athletes overcome incredible challenges and show immense courage. The funds raised from this event go directly to providing year-round sports training, competitions, leadership opportunities, and health services for athletes with intellectual disabilities in our community. Let’s help them continue to shine! ✨

Meet the SPD Polar Plunge Team:

  • Sgt. Sexton
  • Sgt. Brookshire
  • Sgt. Wilkes
  • Sgt. Mitchell
  • Sgt. Humphrey

These brave officers are ready to take the icy plunge, and they need YOUR support to reach our fundraising goal of $1,500!

šŸŽÆ How to Help:

  1. Donate! Even a small contribution makes a big impact. Every dollar goes directly to the Special Olympics of Iredell County. Donate online HERE.
  2. Share! Spread the word and encourage your family, friends, and coworkers to donate.
  3. Join the Plunge! Feeling bold? Sign up and plunge alongside our team!

🚨 If We Hit $1,500…

  • Chief Onley will take THE PLUNGE as a reward for hitting the goal! 🄶 Let’s make this happen!

Be brrrr-ave and help us make a difference in the lives of these incredible athletes. Together, we can help them achieve their goals and inspire our entire community.
