Statesville Police Department Takes Action Against Drug-Related Activity

Statesville, NC – On December 11, 2023, the Statesville Police Department executed a search warrant at 1304 Alexander Street in Statesville, NC, in response to community complaints regarding drug-related activity in the area. The department's Narcotics Division initiated surveillance on the residence and observed suspicious activities that raised concerns. An in-depth investigation was launched resulting in controlled purchases of narcotics being made from the residence, specifically from Terry Lee Roseboro, 61 years old.

During the search conducted on December 11, investigators discovered a substantial quantity of crack cocaine, which was successfully linked to Mr. Roseboro. As a result of this operation, Narcotics Investigators obtained arrest warrants for Terry Lee Roseboro on charges of Trafficking in Cocaine and Felony Maintaining a Dwelling for the purposes of selling narcotics, stemming from the search conducted on December 11.

The Statesville Police Department continued its efforts on December 28, 2023, when members of the department revisited 1304 Alexander Street to execute the outstanding warrants on Mr. Roseboro. Upon locating and arresting him, officers found him to be in possession of additional crack cocaine. In addition to the previous charges, Terry Lee Roseboro was charged with Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Felony Maintaining a Dwelling, and Resisting a Public Officer.

Terry Lee Roseboro was brought before a magistrate and received a $305,000 secured bond.
