Drug Take Back Day - CVS Pharmacy

The Statesville Police Department is participating in the Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA) National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.  This initiative aims to provide the community with a safe and convenient way to dispose of unused, unwanted, and expired prescription medications, as well as sharps and needles.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 28, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at with two convenient locations:

Walgreen Pharmacy – 951 Davie Avenue

CVS Pharmacy – 1550 Wilkesboro Hwy

The SPD encourages all residents to take advantage of this opportunity to dispose of medications and medical items in an environmentally responsible manner, reducing the risk of drug misuse and protecting our community's health and safety.
